Abby Baylis
Office Manager
Abby joined LMS Insure & Invest in August 2019 and is our Office Manager, playing a key role in the smooth day‑to‑day running of the business. She supports advisers in managing client portfolios across risk insurance and investment services and oversees the office’s compliance obligations, working closely with Adam, James and Peter to ensure the business operates efficiently and clients are well supported.
Based in Central Hawke’s Bay since 2015, Abby is an active member of the local community. A passionate tennis player, she spends much of the summer months on the court. When she’s not playing tennis, Abby enjoys getting out and exploring the countryside on her bike or heading off for a walk. She also loves making the most of Hawke’s Bay’s social and cultural scene, with a particular appreciation for good food, wine and visiting local wineries.
Alice Harper
General Insurance Administrator
Alice joined the team in March 2023 and supports advisers and clients through General Insurance processing, valuing clarity, consistency, and strong relationships.
With deep local roots, Alice is proudly born and bred in the district and has a strong connection to her whenua and community. Her whakapapa is far‑reaching, with ties to Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāti Porou, and Ngāti Maniapoto, and her passion for community connection strongly influences the way she supports people in her role.
Alice is a mum of three school‑aged children and has a strong interest in health, sport, and fitness. Outside of work, she is often found either with a whistle in hand – coaching, managing, or supporting from the side-lines – or staying active herself.
Olivia Chant
Office Assistant
Olivia has strong roots in the local community and brings a genuine, people‑first approach to her role. She is known for delivering excellent customer service and has a strong client focus, taking the time to understand and support clients to ensure they feel listened to and well
looked after.
Outside of work, Olivia is a mum of two school‑aged children and is
actively involved in supporting them in their chosen interests. She values
family time and community connection, which aligns closely with the way she
supports clients in the office.
