Peter Seligman Scope of Service
Peter has over twenty years’ experience of working in the financial world, from investment banking in London, to financial planning in Edinburgh, Singapore and now Hawkes Bay.
Peter’s aim is to remove doubt and assumption, to provide confidence and peace of mind. He really loves seeing people feel comfortable with their finances and excited about the future. They say a goal without a plan is just a wish. Everyone has ambitions that they want to achieve for themselves and their loved ones. Peter provides the 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 for achieving your goals.
Peter met his wife, Caroline while working in Edinburgh. They returned to her home in Hawkes Bay via Singapore where their three children were born. Outside work his interests include rugby, skiing and cycling trips with the family.
Adam Stoddart

Adam purchased a shareholding in LMS Insure in April 2019.
Born and bred in Central Hawkes Bay, Adam holds a Business Studies degree (Agribusiness and Management). He has spent the past 15 years Rural Banking in Taranaki and Hawkes Bay.
Adam and his wife Juliet have three young daughters. Outside of office hours he enjoys spending time with family, fishing, hunting and golf.
James Mackie

James has worked with LMS Insure since 2006, is a shareholder in LMS Insure and a Financial Adviser.
He is actively involved with sports in Hawke’s Bay and is a member of several Lake Whatuma groups.
James has always been motivated to meet new people and provide a professional service to all of his clients. He has experience in Insurance Risks, Farms, Business and Domestic insurance.
James and his wife Jenny have three sons. Outside of office hours he enjoys cricket, golf, duck shooting and being involved in the local community.
Abby Baylis
Office Manager
Abby joined LMS Insure in August 2019 as the Office Manager while also providing admin support to Adam, James and Peter.
Having located to Central Hawkes Bay in February 2015, Abby has joined some of the local tennis & squash clubs, enjoys keeping fit and socialising.
Rachael Majors
Office Administrator
Rachael joined the office team of LMS Insure in January 2018 after relocating from Auckland to sunny Central Hawke’s Bay.
Providing an exceptional level of customer service is a high priority and with a varied background in banking, telecommunications, IT and education, working in the insurance industry provides a new and exciting learning opportunity.
Outside of work she enjoys computer gaming, reading and playing with the furkids.
Alice Harper
Office Administrator
Alice joined our office in March 2023.
Born and bred in Central Hawkes Bay, Alice is a mother of three school aged children and when not at work, can often be found at the gym or on the side lines cheering on her children and husband in their various sports.
